Socrates Says

Every lesson is diagnostic.
It's not about what we did last time.
Or what we'll do next time.
Its about what you need to work on today, right now, at this moment.
It's a Socratic dialectic.
I ask you questions.
I question your answers.
I only teach you what you already know, but you don't know you know it.
At some point, you may achieve a high level of skill.
Perhaps even mastery.
And you'll want to think it was me who taught you.
It wasn't.
It was you.
All I do is point out where to look.
Seeing the truth is up to you.

I didn't always know how to teach this way.
I learned it from my horse.
